Coruption of Windows after installing Earthlink Total Access 2004 w/ Parental Co

Windows gets corupted after I install Earthlink Total
Access 2004 from either the Web site or CD. I've been
told 5.0 was not made for XP but, came installed on my
computer. When reinstalling Windows I did not download
it and the problem still occured. Any suggestions on
what might be wrong? I find it hard to believe that my
computer is the only one with this problem unless
something is wrong.

I had the same problem. I fromatted my disk and reinstalled everything but
that particular earthlink program.
I keep a copy of xp and my important files on a second partition so it was
easy to do.

Anyway, you are not the only one this has happened to.
Earthlink should be clearer in their documentation regarding what works with
what, obviously.
