Corrupted File-2

Roger Abell,
the question I sent before was addressed to Carey Frisch. That was open to whomever was the MVP. If you look at my other question and her answer on the 9th, also called corrupted file, you may know something new to do. I thank you for any help you may be able to afford me.

Hi Saul,

Usually we just start a thread with a subject that describes the issue,
and then stay in that thread so all info collects together; and, whoever
wants to can and does join in (so addressing posts to individuals or
expecting to restrict who replies actually just limits the kinds of help
info one might receive).

Have you tried deleting from an F8 safe mode boot ?
And, have you seen this little jewel of a KB article
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=320081
?

Roger,
I have downloaded the process manager and tried that, nothing. I have tried to restart in Safe Mode and I still couldn't delete it. Do you have any other suggestions? Could this be a virus or bug? I am currently running McAfee Virus and Firewall, so I am hoping nothing could make it past that software.

Doug,
Can you help me with my problem. I have been working on this for two days now. I started with Carey last night, Roger this morning and now you. Let's see if we can have any fun...lol.

Thanks,
Saul

In (what may be) your original thread, you indicate this is an .avi file
What is its exact filename and path ?
