Copying Word Document, Including Header/Footer, Into Another Word Document

Tom Sears

Hi, Is there a convenient way to copy the entire formatted
page (text, header, footer) of a Word document and paste
it into another Word document?

Tom,

Yes - the easiest thing is to use the document with the
desired formatting as your base document; use "Save As"
and rename the document - then make changes, text
modifications, additions as needed.

If you already have an existing document containing text,
but without the preferred formatting, again, use the
previously formatted document as a baseline, use Save As,
new name, then copy and paste the unformatted text into
the newly created and already formatted document.
