Copying and pasting invisible buttons/links

I have a 90 page ppt. with 7 sections. Across the top of each page I have
tabs that I have linked to each section using invisible buttons (ie. boxes
with no line, no fill) that I hyperlinked to each section.

However, when I copy and paste these buttons on successive pages, while the
hyper link is still in each button, the link does not work, unless I edit the
hyper link and click okay.

This would be fine, except 90 times 7 is a lot of OKs to click. Any ideas?

Tony,
What if you put the buttons on the master instead of on each slide? It would
save you alot of work and probably get you closer to the results you want...

Thanks for the reply. I tried that, but I'm afraid putting the links on the
master slide does not work. Any other ideas?

Tony,
Can you clarify "does not work"? Do you mean it doesn't meet your
requirements or that the links don't work? I do this all the time, so am
wondering what you are doing differently....

What I do: Put a series of buttons across the top or side of the master and
set the hyperlink on each to the correct section. I then select all the
buttons, go to Format--> Autoshape, and set the fill to 90% (you can go as
high as 98%, but higher than that and the link won't be recognized). The
buttons should appear on each slide that uses the master. They should be
clickable as long as nothing else is on top of them.

Bingo! It works now. Once I highlighted my buttons and went to Format -->
Autoshape and set the fill to 98% it was then able to paste in the other
pages and retain it's link abilities. Before, I was just using an invisible
rectangle (no line or fill) and it wouldn't paste and work.

Thanks much. Appreciate the help.
