copy & paste doesn't work!

When I want to copy some file/folder to another folder or
another place, the paste command shown in the right click
menu is disabled. So I cannot paste the file into another
place.
Also I cannot move the file into another place by draging
and droping method. There's no response when I drag the
file.

What is happening with my computer?
How can I do copy & paste and move function again?

Pls help.

Firstly, I take it that the feature was working previously?
The reason I say this is that you have some form of policies in place that
prevent you using it. Depends on the environment.

Last week a similar thing happened to me on my W2K pro desktop. I could copy
but just couldnt paste anything.
Restarting the machine didnt resolve it. I then realised I had contracted
the MBlast virus on my machine and after a fix and clearing the blighter off
the system. I rebooted. Lo and behold it worked again.

Anyway this may be the answer for you, even so its worth a try.
