Converting date to different Format

Hi,
My data is in numbers like 1/31/1970 and is displayed(format) like 31 Jan 70, and I want it to be in a format of Jan1970. Any suggestions how can I do it?

If it's Excel, select the cells you want to format this way, then right click on them and go to Format Cells. On the number tab, click on Custom in the bottom left. Then, in the line to the right of "Type:" type mmmyyyy and that should do it.
