Converting a word document (.doc) to SNP or PDF using automation in vba

Does anyone know of a way to convert a word document (.doc) to a
snapshot file (.snp) using automation within Access?

Or does anyone know of a way to use the ReportToPDF solution on
www.lebans.com to convert a word document to a pdf?

The application I'm working on needs to be able to allow a user to
choose a word document via a file dialog, which would then be
converted to a pdf and placed in another folder.

I doubt it's possible.

I believe there are 3rd party utilities that will work with Word.
Unfortunately, I don't know any: you might ask in a Word newsgroup.

I believe that 'SNAPSHOT' is a template in Visual C++ 6.0; so I am
hopeful that someday someone will make a component to do that.

as it is right now; Microsoft has introduced FIVE portable document
formats in the past decade

a) SNAPSHOT
b) Microsoft Document Imaging
c) Windows Live Journal
d) XPS
e) PDF

and Access doesn't support the last 3 options.

I would reccomend using SQL Server Reporting Services instead of
Access; Access is a dead end street.

ADP _ROCKS_ but MDB is for lamers and retards.
