This will probably be an easy one for most of you, but how do you connect two computers so they are able to share files and peripherals e.g. printer, scanner, floppy drives etc. I've attempted to use network wizard but I can't seem to get it right. Would appreciate very much ur advise on this matter.
Thank you.

Ramon,

one of the nicest ways is to buy a WAN router like the cheap SMC
7004 VBR, connect it to a DSL or cable Internet line and plug up
to 4 computers into it (use an extra switch for more).

This will give you a fast Internet connection and at the same
time network your computers.

If you don't want the fast Internet connection, a switch alone
will do. For just two computers you could also use a special
crossover cable.

On the computers you use the Ethernet (RJ-45) connectors for all
this. If any computer doesn't have one, you have to buy an (also
cheap) Ethernet adapter.

If you have your computers connected and still have any
problems, please ask here again or check

potential problems.
