domain name depending on OS version.

i didn't explain well, i want to do that with a script, I need to reinstall
few computers and i will like to automate all possible.

Sorry (too); I wasn't paying attention that this was posted in the
cmdprompt groups.

Google (search AND GROUPS):

[ site:microsoft.com change | rename computer name workgroup script |
"command line" ]

NetDom and another script are mentioned for the workgroup part of the
problem.
