Compact and Repair

I want a button on my form that will compact and repair my
database. Does anyone know how to do this in Access XP?
Thanks in advance.

Doesn't Access2000 & above run a repair and compact
automatically when the last person in the database logs out
(if the option is selected in the database options)?

Hi,

Access won't let you compact or repair the database while
the code is running, so you will have to manually do this
by means of the menu bar.
