com+ Eventystem Errors after installing multiple patches

Hello,

OS: w2k SP4

I need installing some MS-patches for a new CAD application on the Client
i was trying to connect the client to my WSUS Server like all the others, no
chance
i connected the client to the internet downloading the patches
-> problems with microsoft update
-> it works with windows update
after download + installing new Installer an bits, rebooting und
downloading/installing all hotfixes from Windows update.
Rebooting und a lot of services will not start.
First service with problems is eventsystem that results in a lot of services
failing during start. (RAS/PHONE/FAX/Network/NETMAN.

RPC service is running

I will try to translate the german message in system eventlog :
"The service COM+ and eventsystem ist not starting because of failure: the
service is not responding to start and controlquery within a given time"

Rollback of all Hotfixes results in the same errors.
Some Ideas?
Thaks for all your help
