Column headings changed from, alphabetic to numeric

I don't know how this happened, but the top of the columns
was switched to numeric. For example, the address of the
first box is not 'A1', it is now referred to as 'R1C1'
(which I assume stands for row 1 column 1). I would be
grateful if anyone knew how to change it back. TIA for
your help. Betty
