CManager/unable to connect to ccd process

When I first turn on my computer, once all programs have
loaded, I get an error box. The top says "CManager". The
test within the box says "Application fatal error: Unable
to connect to CCD process." I have searched all help
topics under Windows support, but cannot find what this
error is referencing. Does anyone have any help for me?
I would greatly appreciate it. I am using Windows 2000
Professional.
