Clustering: Update Rollup 1 for Windows 2000 Service Pack 4

Upon Installing "Update Rollup 1 for Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 (KB842773)"
One of the members of our cluster would no longer function. Here is the event
log entry. Upon removal of the update the machine was then able to work with
the cluster again? Is there any resolution to this as we would like to
install the Rollup on other clustered servers?

Event Type: Error
Event Source: ClusSvc
Event Category: (128)
Event ID: 1234
Date: 7/21/2005
Time: 9:27:18 AM
User: N/A
Computer: ServerName
Description:
The Cluster service account does not have the following required user rights:

Act as part of the operating system
Lock pages in memory

These user rights were granted to the Cluster service account during cluster
setup and must not be removed.

User Action

Assign these rights to the Cluster service account. One way to do this is to
use Local Security Settings (Secpol.msc). Another way is to edit the Group
Policy object that is associated with the Cluster service account's user
object in Active Directory.

If you have already assigned these rights to the Cluster service account,
and the user rights appear to be removed, a Group Policy object might be
removing the rights. Check with your domain administrator to find out if this
is happening.

I also faced the same problem- and I added the cluster account to the local
group policy on the Clustered servers to fix this-
