Chart or EXcel symbols

I used to be able to list items/name that i wanted in a organizational chart
or in a drawn symbol. I would link them to the chart or drawn symbol and when
i would change the list the chart would change auto. i cannot remember how i
did it, does anyone know?

Hi,

Assuming you are using the diagram tool in Excel 2003 or earlier, just click
one of the nodes, then click the border of the node so cursor is not inside
the node, then click the Formula Bar and type an equal = and click on a cell
in the spreadsheet where you have the item you want to display. Press Enter
