changing a partitioned hard drive back to an unpartitioned hard drive

I have an older computer-K6 processor- that had 5
partitions on the hard drive and Windows 2000 installed
and want to install XP to replace 2000. I have it down to
2 partitions now but the small partition(3.13g)has XP-
ntfs and the other partition(12g)has XP-Fat32. I really
wanted no partitions with XP-ntfs but the small partition
has the system files on it and the large partition is the
boot. I only have the XP cd, no cd for the hard drive or
whatever. What should I do?

You can create & delete partitions during the XP install
-- if you do not mind losing everything on your HD, this is a simple process
that does not need 3rd party software
