when i start my computer, the following message appears on the screen
"windows cannot find 'changeme.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly.
To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search."
What does this mean? how can i stop the message appearing when i turn my
computer on?

Changeme.exe looks like a Malware (as Mike stated already). It looks like
your anti-virus application has removed the file already, but the startup
entry remains.

To remove the error message at startup, try this:

Create a System Restore point as a safety measure, and then try this:

Open Regedit.exe and navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

Double-click the value named "Shell" and set its data to "Explorer.exe"

Close Regedit.exe and restart Windows.
