Change Default Webcam

I installed the webcam software before I hooked up a Logitech QuickCam10 to
my USB port, (just like the installation disk said to do). After I rebooted
to install the new driver, Windows recognized the webcam and installed the
drivers as it was supposed to do.

Now, Yahoo Messenger does not even see the new webcam, but the camera works
fine when I use the Mfgr's software.

Under the "Preferences>My Webcam" tab on Msgr, the only camera Msgr sees and
lists on the pull-down tab is:
"Microsoft WDM Image Capture (Win32), Version: 5.1.2600.2180", so I don't
even have an option to select the new webcam as the default.

How do I add the new camera to the drop-down menu in order to select it as
the one I want to be the default webcam?

I didn't have another camera prior to this one.

Thanks in advance.

I just solved my own problem. I signed-in to MSN Messenger and started my
webcam config program. It recognized the webcam right away.

Afterwards, I went back into Yahoo Msgr and now the webcam is working there,
too!

Now, I'm afraid to turn my computer off.. LOL
Thanks anyways!
