I am no expert but I use CC Cleaner a friend of mine complained that her PC was running slow. Buy running slow I mean slow she would log in and literary have to wait 1/2 hour for thing to fire up. I went over and installed CC Cleaner it took half the morning and set it running.I went home to have my lunch and take doggy for walkies. When I got back to hers about 2 hours later it was still running and ran for another hour. It found 2,640 mb of rubbish I ran the clean up and now the PC runs as sweet as a nut and quite fast considering it is an old Dell with 512 ram and was second hand. She is very pleased with the result.

CCleaner gets the thumbs up fron Ireland too. Its from a company called piriform and they do a few more little programs. I have speccy, defraggler and recuva. All are fairly decent but CCleaner is the one i use all the time and tell peeps to get it when they have issues.

Aye, I use Speccy as well, V_R put me on to that one and despite my somewhat frivolous earlier remarks, CCleaner is a goodie, I use it all the time.
