Capturing Canon Elura 20mc DV

I am having problems trying to capture video that I
recorded on my canon elura 20mc. Windows Movie Maker
detects it and can rewind it and everything, but once it
starts capturing, it says there is an unknown error. Can
anyone help? Thanks.

Try a test, copying from the camcorder to your computer with WinDV, a
utility (link on the Camcorders... General page of www.papajohn.org).

If you have problems doing that, then it's somewhere between your hard drive
and camcorder.
