can't retype same letter. Must go to another letter

A wrong selection was made. I now canot retype a leter, I have to go to
another leter first. I have to continualy make corections as can be sen in
this typing.

If I understand you correctly, you cannot repeat a letter on the keyboard.
This is a bizarre problem, but it may be due to having the repeat rate set
incorrectly in the Control Panel | Keyboard, or it could be caused by some
setting in Control Panel | Accessibility Options. This sounds suspiciously
like the work of Filter Keys in Accessibility Options, which ignores
repeated keys or slows down the repeat rate.
