Can't receive email from some but receive others

Donna

I haven't been able to receive emails from my son whom I have emailed since
I've had a computer....many years. Suddenly I'm not receiving them. He says
he's written every day. There's also another person whom I'm not receiving
emails from. I receive all other emails ok. Any suggestions? Thanks in
advance.

Some ISPs use a "Blacklist" provided by a third party like "Spamhaus".
If you IP address gets on this list they will simply trashcan email from
you. The ISP used by my UK pension provider uses the Spamhaus blacklist
and for whatever reason my IP address ended up on it, in fact not just
mine but the whole block of IPs used by my current ISP here in Iowa.
Spamhaus provide a way to remove your IP however it simply does not
work, and in my opinion their actions should be illegal because I am
paying my ISP for a service that they are blocking.

If your contact is on that list then you will never get their emails,
and you own ISP may be the only person who can help. You will need your
contact to provide their IP address if this is what's happening.
