Can't open .jpg attachments

My new Dell desktop came with a Paint Shop Pro demo, which just
expired. For some reason, all incoming .jpg attachments were viewed
through this software, but now that the trial has expired they don't
open. I know that I could save these and then open them using a
graphics program, but I would like to open them directly without the
extra step. So I would appreciate suggestions for associating these
graphic attachments with appropriate software, allowing me to view
directly. Thank you.

And how is this Outlook related? Just because you received a certain file
type by mail doesn't mean it is an Outlook issue.

Anyway; you can chance the file association in Control Panel-> Folder
Options-> tab File Types

Thanks for your help. The problem only arose when I tried to open
attachments in Outlook. With the adjustment in file associations,
thanks to your suggestion, I can open whatever I need.
