Cant Open Database -- Missing Security.mdw file

When I try to open my database, I get a Microsoft Access Error that says
"Microsoft Access can not find the security.mdw This file is needed for
startup. Any Suggestions?

How are you opening the database? (shortcut or double-clicking in Windows
Explorer)
Does it say 'security.mdw' or system.mdw?
What version of Access?

It is security.mdw I am double clicking thru windows explorer. I fear it
may be corrupted :(

Open Access and go to Tools, security, workgroup administrator. What is the
path and filename listed as the default.
