Can't open attachments/need help

Any suggestions on why I can't open attachments I recieve.
I click on the paperclick icon and the options are
given; "save attachment", "open so and so etc." but it
doesn't allow me to do anything with it. The options are
not bold, just transparent so I can't click on them.
Any help would be appreciated.

If you're using Outlook Express and I think Outlook, go to
Tools, Security (Tab) and Uncheck "Do not allow
Attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially
be a virus" give that a try, good luck!
