I have a new computer and copied the Outlook data from my old computer on
disk. When I attempted to import the pst file, I received the message: "Files
access denied, you do not have the permission required to access the file
f:\myFile.pst.

Remove the read-only attribute. If on a CD, it must be copied to the hard
drive first. Then, don't import. Open the file with FIle>Open>Outlook Data
File (or Persaon Folders File, depending on your version).

"(or Personal Folders file,...)" I just washed my fingers and can't do
anything with them.

Make sure the old .PST file isn't marked "Read Only".
