can't get rid of 2 useless Network Bridges

Struggling with a Local Area Connection and a Wireles
Network connection I bridged them in the hope they would
make the switch more easily when needed, but for some
reason they didn't work like this.
I unchecked Bridge this connection in both LAC and WN but
I still have the useless bridges in the list and there
doesn't seem to be any way of deleting them.
Message reads: "An unexpected error occured while
configuring the Network Bridge".
I opened the properties but they are completely empty.

Any helpful soul that might give me an idea??
Thanks a lot in advance.

Grace.

Thanks Haus,

That's exactly my problem.
Windows doesn't let me remove the bridge.
Wireless and Local Area connections are removed from the
bridge and disabled (I tried all the possible
combinations). The Delete option in both connections is
greyed.
The delete option in the Bridge is active but when I click
on it it asks if I'm sure I want to remove the Network
Bridge", I accept and I get this message:
"An unexpected error occured while configuring the Network
Bridge".
I tried rebooting a hundred times so far, but it always
comes up with the same message.
I'm at a loss!!!

There are two additional things you can try.

1) Open up the device manager and remove the bridge from the network
adapters section.
Try to delete the bridge again from the Network Connections Folder.

2) If this does not solve the problem, you can remove the bridge key from
the registry.
LM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network\{GUID}(Look for the GUID
containing ms_Bridge and delete that GUID) Be careful just to remove the
GUID
with the sub key containing ms_Bridge.

Thanks
