Can't find "Out of Office Assistant" - Office XP

T

Tom

Currently, I use MS-Office XP. In this version I cannot locate the "Out of
Office Assistant" under the Tools menu.

I searched in the Help file (which references the Tools menu). Am I
blind???

I tried to find something similar in the Rules Wizard. That doesn't seem
to work though.

What am I doing wrong? Where do I need to look to find the Out of Office
feature?

Thanks,
Tom

If you don't connect to an Exchange server, there is no automatic out of
office autoreply. You'd have to spoof it with rules, and note that this
means leaving Outlook open, and connected to the internet, for the duration
of your absence.

See http://www.slipstick.com/rules/index.htm for help.
