You should have a shedule tasks option reacable from your start menu. If
you find that it may show that you have chkdsk scheduled, and you could
change it form there.
Try typing:CHKDSK C: /F
For the utility to run,to turn off,try:CHKDSK C: /END
after the utility has run,rebooted.
Any info assoc to a cmd just type: /? After the cmd
