I'm using Windows XP Home. In the past I have always been able to pick on a
program file in Windows Explorer, right-click, and choose "Send to Desktop
(Shortcut)" and a *shortcut* to the program would be placed on my desktop.
For some reason it now sends a copy of the complete program file to the
desktop instead. If I want to send a shortcut, I have to right click,
choose "Create Shortcut," then select the newly-created shortcut,
right-click that, and send *it* to the desktop.
How can I restore this to a one-step process?
