I manage a peer-peer network with clients ranging from 98SE to XP Pro. I
have a LJ 4050 setup for TCI/IP printing using an HP JetDirect (J3113
w/lastest firmware) print server. Even though the JetDirect has a host
name, I cannot browse it Net 'Hood or My Net Places. The Jet Direct is IPP
capable, and when installed on a remote in the state of CA, the host name(of
the JetDirect) can be read and is part of the name used for the remote
install. I can ping the IP of the Jet Direct, however, Net Hood or My Net
Places cannot find the \\hostname\printer We have another TCI/IP printer
on the net (a Ricoh All-in-one). Its Host name and printer name are
browsable. What can I do to make the JetDirect and LJ 4050 browsable?

    Thanks Ken
