can't add video clip to ppt. no vids-mjpg decompressor

I cannot add a video clip to my ppt. It tells me it cannot find the
vids-mnpg decompressor

The error message is basically saying the computer does not have the proper
codec installed and cannot play the video without out (not all movies are
created the same). My guess is this is a video clip from a digital camera.
You can either find and install the needed codec on your computer, but being
non-standard this can be a problem if you want to use the presentation on
other computers. Check here for more info on codecs and ppt:

Option 2: Open the video in a video editing appication and resave.

Option 3: Look into this add-in that does all the work for you, directly
