Canon camera and firewire

Hello,
I'm having a problem with my digital video camera. The
Canon help and support told me to contact microsoft and
hen when i contacted microsoft the advised me to post
something on this message board. The problem i am having
is that when i go to ass hardware it says the camera is
connected butt he driver is not installed. Apparantly
there is o need for a driver for the camera but possibly
it could be for the firewire, my only problem with that
is if i needed a driver for the firewire it would have
came with one. I just need to find away to take the
digital moveis off the camera tapes and onto my computer.

Fireware drivers should be obtained from mb or card site.
My mb certainly came with firewire drivers.
