I am contemplating purhcase of a 9100, and would appreciate hearing from anyone using one who has experimented with heavier weight
papers or lighter-weight card stock what your experience pro/con has been.

thanks !

Define heavy. The heaviest weight I've pushed through mine is 240gm/m²
(sorry I don't work in lbs/y² or is it ft²?).

I have six different weights of media in my stationery cupboard: -

Standard (80g/m²)
Thick paper (100g/m²)
Light card (120g/m²)
Medium card (160g/m²)
Semi-heavy card (210g/m²)
Heavy card (240g/m²)

The i9100 handles them all with ease.

If you want the above in imperial - convert it yourself! ;o)

The above is slightly heavier tha Kodak's 8mil / 190gm/m^2
gloss photo-paper, if that's of any help.
