Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook MAPI32.DLL is corrupt

After I reloaded Microsoft Office Professional 2003 and I try to use Outlook,
I get the following error message: "Cannot start Microsoft Outlook.
MAPI32.DLL is corrupt or the wrong version. This could have been caused by
installing other messaging software. Please reinstall Outlook."

By the way, everything worked fine for me until I installed a trial version
of Microsoft Office 2007. When ever I tried to open Outlook, with that, I
would receive an error message relating to Business Contact Manager. Then I
uninstalled the 2007 version and reinstalled the 2003 version.

You will need to rename the mapi32.dll found at \Program Files\Common
Files\System\MSMAPI\1033 to something like mapi32.corrupt. Once you have
this done, go into add/remove programs and do a detect/repair on Office
2003.
