Cannot see/connect to Internet - wireless

Hi :

I can see the LAN connection on the bottom of my screen but when I click on
the Internet the 'Page cannot be displyed'; I have wireless addapter and a
D-Link wireless router; OS is Windoes 2000.

Any suggestions are appreciated!
