Cannot run Windows Update or MS Update. ActiveX fails

I have been trying to run Windows Update on 2 computers and it will
not run. I followed MS instructions on how to add trusted sites and
even made the security settings as low as I could get them to go. I
enabled ALL ActiveX controls in Internet Options - still can't get it
to run.

Any Ideas?

not get any replies, so I thought I would try here.
