cannot receive email from one sender

Using Outlook 2003. I am not receiving e-mail from one particular contact who
also has Outlook 2003 installed. I receive it when he sends it to me via
webmail but not when he uses Outlook. He is getting through to other people
via outlook and is spelling my e-mail address correctly - any suggestions?.

is it perhaps going to Junk email or is there another local rule acting on
it.
Use Advanced Search to see if you can locate messages from that sender.

Yes, no problem. I've even checked his PC to make sure he hasn't
inadvertantly blocked messages to my BT account in some way and I can't find
anything - it always shows the messages in his 'Sent Items' folder. He can
send to an alternative e-mail account that I have and that's fine - I'm just
concerned that other messages from other senders aren't getting through.
Appreciate your help!

really not sure on this. it seems something is happening to it when you try
to download it or after you download it.
it might be there somewhere but not seen.
see if him sending only a plain text message arrives ok. ensure he sets a
read and delivery receipt for it.
after the confirms it is sent try an Advanced Find on all folder for
something in his email address to see if you can locate it.

also see if purging/deleting any email messages on the server before he
sends another message helps. If you have any anti-virus email integration
enabled then disable it.
