Cannot open Excel 2000 file containing PivotTables

I have an issue with what I think is a user profile. At the moment whenever
a particular user attempts to open an excel workbook containing a pivottable,
excel will crash with a general protection fault.
Any other workbook not containing pivottables will open OK.
The user logging onto another workstation in the domain can open the file OK.
An admin user logging onto that machine can open the files OK.

I have repaired, uninstalled and reinstalled office, but the error still
exists. I have deleted the users' profile located on the machine but the
problem still occurs. Are there any hidden, non profile based settings that
could cause this issue?

Thanks for any help in advance.

Hi Martin,

Hmm. What about cleaning out the user's Temp folder?

All temp folders are clear - c:\temp and the ones in documents and settings.

Thanks for the idea though

Regserver did the trick! It was missing a tbl file that was automatically
installed after the error.
