If this is actually the Canon MP390 printer, the printhead you want
can be had for $52 + $15 US shipping worldwide. Just type "Canon 390
printhead" in the search box in eBay and you'll get 1 result.

From what I find, BC-21e is not a printhead but an ink cartridge
number, and not for the MP390. Which one of us is mixed up :)

What exactly do you need, an ink cartridge or a printhead?

Maybe, but you still have to sign up on e-bay to buy. That means
providing personal information to 2 companies, not just one.

Only if the person isn't already a member. I checked your link and
the seller is actually Weink, and I don't believe they have free
shipping for US residents. The International rate might be the same
though, which would really only apply to the original poster looking
for the part. By the time we debate the merits of both seller the
original poster will have bought a new printer instead . . . :)

I agree, debating the merits would be a waste of time. I am just leery
of using e-bay. I have used weink and I trust them, but then again you
said you had success on e-bay.

In absolute honesty, I've had about 50 successful (and many wonderful)
eBay purchases and a couple of hundred sales (old Top 40 record charts).
Only one purchase went horribly wrong (fraud). Okay, I learned
something about Eastern Europe ;-). And even then eBay refunded half the
money. With such a high positive to negative ratio its hardly enough to
deter anyone from using this wonderful service. The items I bought
simply could not be purchased in stores at the prices I paid, ranging
from 1/4 to 1/2 store prices. Even the printhead I bought, the eBay
seller was selling it for half the price of everyone else online. And
he shipped it same day and I received it in just 9 days (US to Canada,
with a stop at Canada Customs). There was one dealer online that
indicated there was a 7 day waiting period before shipment. Why? I'm
assuming he has to order it first from Canon. That's poor service in
the modern business model. People look for immediate local delivery
and free shipping, if possible. Well, at least I do.
