Can you insert picture filename without using Photo Album?

I am using PowerPoint 2007. I was using Photo Album to organize old photos
that I had scanned in. I used a unique numbering system for my filenames so
liked that they appeared by the photos. However, I didn't like the
restrictions of the slide layouts. I found another template for arranging
photos but it does not have a filename function. Is there any other way to
get the filename without using Photo Album?

Thank you. I've bookmarked the website however I am using Vista and that is
not listed as one of the OSs that it will work under. I will continue to
monitor that website to see if it is compatible with Vista.

I'm sure that Shyam will pop in and clarify as to what is required. I
currently use it under XP and Office 2007, and it works just great.

The image importer works with Vista as well. Looks like the web page needs
