I am making a chalenge for y'all

THis chalenge consists of trying to find a free replacement for all premium software. there is no prize for the person that gets to most of anything... but i feel like trying.

example:

I will say: "Microsoft Outlook 2003" the person in the next post will say a free replacement for this program
i.e. Mozilla Thunderbird

Do you all get it?

No double posting.

Program: Microsoft Word

Anything Linux ...

Shall I close the thread now? :p

Actually, I would like to leave anything Linux out of the equations ... it would be cheating, and change "The Rules" to read ... Free programs that run under Windows.

You can always ignore my suggestion ... I'm just waiting for the Snooker to restart. :D

Hmm.

Nortons AV: Antivir
Photoshop: The Gimp or Irfanview (partly)
WinZip/Rar: Ultimate Zip
WS_FTP: Smart FTP
Windows Media Player: Winamp (or Nero Media player if you have a copy of Nero)
Internet Explorer: Firefox or Opera
Win XP: Mandrake 10.1 et al
Nero: no substitute within a MS OS, imo.
