Can Outlook 2003 lose random emails

G

Gerry

All,

It seems to me that my installation of Outlook 2003 loses an
occasional email. Yes, it is possible that the problem is due to
operator error, put there are some messages that should be there but
simply aren't. Is this possible? I would expect that trying to find
lost messages might not be possible, but are there any actions I can
take to prevent future losses?

More information:
Windows XP Pro SP3
Using Eset NOD32 anti-virus
Have installed Lookout for Outlook and SpamBully plug-ins
..pst file size is ~ 1.4GB

Thank you.

Are you using the AV plug-in for Outlook? IF yes, then disable it and see
if your performance gets better.
