can log onto domain but cant see files or folders

I just completed configuring DNS and Active Directory on a
W2K server. I joined one computer to the domain and
logged onto the domain just fine. However, when I go to
My Network Places/Entire Network/Microsoft Windows
Network/<Domain Name>, there is a pause and then the
message "<Domain> is not accessible. The list of servers
for this workgroup is not currently available."

The domain has a .org extension and the DNS points to the
IP address of the server. Any suggestions on why I can
not see anything on the network?
Thank you in advance.

What OS is running on the client computer??

With older OS's you need to make sure that the domain name is explicitly
specified in Control Panel/System/Properties.

Hope this helps,

specified as <domain.org> and the computer name is
