Can I stop links from converting backslashes to slashes?

Hi,

We have an application where we launch Excel sheets with a backslash
switch. I am putting the same line we use in our applications, into
an email.

i.e. <file:\\filename.xls /e/test/>

When Outlook tries to open it, it converts to

\\filename.xls \e\test\

Argh! I've tried the "%5C", and that doesn't work. And "quotes"
doesn't work either.

I searched for an autocorrect option to turn off, but I see nothing
related to hyperlinks.

Anyone have an idea?

Thanks,

Jon

well, you need more that the %5C to make it work - you need %20 for spaces
too... but I don't think you can use command line switches in a hyperlink.
