business contact changes not saved in viewing pane

I have made changes to a contact and they show up in the business card
section of business manager contacts but when I view the contact details the
old details show up? What am I doing wrong

I want to be able to see certain things on the business card view of my bcm 2007... I can publish the form and use it as needed in Contacts but I can't get the changes to stick in BCM. Please help!

When I access the properties and specify to "When posting new items to this folder, use: _____" I get a could not complete the operation because the service provider does not support it.

Please tell me someone has figured a work around on this one!
