Burned DVD wont play on a DVD player

I

Ian

Hi
I'm new to this subject.
I have burned my movie to a +RW DVD & this plays successfully on my PC via
Windows Media Player.
I wanted to run the DVD via my friends DVD player (set top model) but it
cannot read my DVD.
I burned a second DVD onto a -RW, still no success.
What have I done wrong, or failed to do?

Cheers, Ian

Hi Ian,

You have to make sure that the dvd players are able to read those types of
media. Check the guides for the supported types.

Check the disc/player compatibility table...

Many standalone DVD players, particularly older ones
have trouble reading field-burnable discs.

Watch out for the MVP (Microsoft Virtual Police)...if one gets on your
machine pull the plug quickly and watch them float off into VHF (Virtual
Hell Forever) Well it nearly works :)
