Broken Recycle Bin from Norton System Works 2002

After installing Norton System Works 2002 my recycle bin
has no files in it, when opened I receive "Critical
Message - Unexpected values found in Recycle Bin data
file."

1. How can I restore deleted folder with exe
applications, is there another way to restore/retreive,
does XP do or have a back up feature for data?

2. How can I fix my reclcle bin?

I believe that Norton installs it's own Protected Recycle Bin. You might want to consult the help files for that program or contact their customer support at the following address.
