broken driver for dvd/cd rom drive (toshiba dvd-rom sd-c2402)

driver is broken - can't fix since drive is broken. where
can one get a download for the driver for this device?

They are all part of XP.....

Have you tried right clicking on the combo drive's entry in the Device
Manager, selecting Uninstall then rebooting the notebook and letting XP
redetect and install the correct drivers?
