bootcfg /rebuild isn't helping, hal.dll error

it detects an E:\WINDOWS when Windows is on C.

I think i've got a hidden partition, a partition magic job. i don't
want to delete it though.

But C isn't hidden, C is the prmiary active partition and it's fat32, i
can bot up with a floppy and se it. it sohuldn't be detected as E. And
when I try to boto i get a hal.dll error

Insufficient information to help you. What exactly preceded this?

And BTW, booting from a floppy will always show the first FAT32
partition it finds as drive C:, with other possible partitions being
formatted using other file systems, this is relatively meaningless.
